St. Nicholas Shield (Club Official of the Year) |
|
Monday, 13 February 2012 08:54 |
|
Once again details will be with all club secretaries seeking their Club Official of the Year.
Nominations are required for who you think deserves an award as a result of working within your club.
This does not have to be your best player, but maybe someone who works hard behind the scene to make things happen.
This in NOT a long service award but is nominated by you as to why you feel they should receive recognition for what they do.
Current members and officials of the Management Committee as listed in the handbook, are not allowed to be nominated.

Return Of Cups And Trophies! |
|
Monday, 13 February 2012 08:53 |
|
All clubs are reminded that they are responsible for the return of ALL Cup and Trophies handed out at the end of the last season.
These items must be returned to Jean not later than Tuesday 28th February 2012. Please note that clubs are responsible not only for team awards, but also for individual awards given to the players.
In the event of a late return, as stated in the handbook, for each individual item returned late, two league points will be deducted from each team registered in the league.
In other words, if a club has two or more teams, two points will be deducted from all the teams for each week of a late return.
See the rule 4E(iv) on page 46 in your handbook.
Please also ensure that the trophies have also been cleaned, again the same rule covers this item and three league points from each team will be deducted for items not returned cleaned.

Teams Playing Short In Matches |
|
Wednesday, 08 February 2012 10:42 |
|
If you find that you are unable to raise a full team in either the cup or league, it is recommended show that the number two player on the score sheet be the absent player.
This does not affect the order of play in any way.
By selecting number two, it means that the player with the corresponding number on the opponents side gets a game or two.
By selecting three, the opposition player with the same number does not play at all.
