The leauge has been made aware of free badminton sessions being made available, please see below for details:

“There are free Badminton Sessions being held at the new Blackburn Sports & Leisure Centre:

Feilden St, Blackburn, Lancashire BB2 1LQ.

Starting Tuesday 19th January 2016.

These sessions are organised and funded by Blackburn Rovers, Sport England & The National Lottery.

There are two sessions on Tuesday Evenings:

7-8pm for 14-25 year olds
8-9pm for 25 year olds and over.

(Please note the first two weeks will be just for 1 hour between 7-8, so both age groups will share the courts).

There are 4 courts available.

Please pass on this information as all are welcome to attend.

This initiative is called Motivate! and its aim is to increase the participation of badminton in the community.

We have a few spare rackets to use and shuttles are provided.
